• It was established in 1990 with a purpose of conservation of forests in flood-plains of Suusamyr River and Karakol ( West ) River including willow, English elm, Prunus padus as well as Ribes janczewskii.
• It is very closely related to " Prunus padus " ( Bird cherry ), differing in the aristate tips to the leaf serration ( blunt-pointed in " P . padus " ), and the longer style in the flower.
• Many of the medicinal plants are also found here, they are Atropa Belladroma, Artemisa Martima, Saxifrage spp etc . in case of fruit tree the most abundant are walnuts ( Juglans Regia ), Amluke ( Diosphyeslotus ), Mulberries, Chalghoza, toots, Cherry ( Prunus Padus ) etc . while in fauna, Brown Bears, Snow Leopards, Monkeys, Porcupines, Ibex, Markhor, Musk, Deer, Jackals, Chakores and Monal Pheasants etc.
